Cloth grown like food

The Grove is an organic clothing studio opening in 2026. Linen, hemp, and cotton, shown here as they hang, not as they sell.

Our story

Our position

If food can be organic, so can what you wear

The agriculture behind most clothing is invisible. Pesticides, synthetic fertilisers, and water-intensive crops sit behind every garment that does not carry a certification. At The Grove, every fibre is GOTS-certified before it reaches a mill.

We make fewer pieces and account for all of them. No seasonal overruns, no warehouse clearances, no fast-fashion economics. A shirt that lasts ten years is worth more than ten shirts that each last a year.

From ground to garment

Grown in certified soil

Linen, hemp, and cotton are planted in GOTS-certified fields. No synthetic pesticides, no GMO seed. Soil health is tracked between harvests.

Milled without compromise

Fibre goes directly to audited mills in Portugal, Lithuania, and Italy. No intermediaries. We visit every supplier before placing an order.

Cut to outlast fashion

Cuts are kept simple and repairable. No excess seaming, no trend-driven details. Each piece is designed to be worn, washed, mended, and passed on.
